You are invited to a family fun Carnival For Kids presented by the Illumination Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to ending the cycle of homelessness in Orange County.
Illumination Foundation is hosting the 2nd Annual Carnival for Kids to raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Resource Center (CRC).
Located in Stanton, at the CRC, children who may otherwise have nowhere to go are offered tutoring and mentorship, mental health services, gang intervention, extracurricular classes, nutritious meals, and a chance at a bright, more promising future. The CRC relies heavily on the generosity of local donors, especially this summer as the Center is undergoing a facility expansion to accommodate the needs of the community.
Sunday, August 17th the Carnival For Kids provides a FREE day of fun for Orange County families and an opportunity for corporate sponsors, IF volunteers and the local community to come together, enjoy family-friendly activities and garner donations. Families are invited to spend share a fun day of rides, games, a petting zoo, demonstrations, food and live music. All proceeds from Carnival for Kids will benefit homeless and at-risk families. Admission and parking for the event are FREE. An unlimited ride wristband can be purchased for $40.00 and individual ride tickets cost $.50 each. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
